President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday asked government agencies to submit reports on the damage left by typhoon “Tisoy” so funds can be made available.

“The question is if we have this kind of situation, it’s always money. It would be good for the entire government agencies here to submit your report immediately so we can pass it on to the proper agency concerned,” Duterte said during situation briefing on the effects typhoon “Tisoy” in Bicol region.

The President also expressed satisfaction with the government’s typhoon response.

“It is always after the calamity. After all is said and done, it is always about the money. I do not have to give any critic because I said, everyone knew what to do before, during, and after. I’m more than satisfied with the performance of government,” he said.

Meanwhile, Duterte pushed for the establishment of permanent evacuation centers in Bicol following the onslaught that killed a total of 13 persons according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
