Duterte’s order to gov’t agencies: Set aside budget for vehicle maintenance, repair

President Rodrigo Duterte has directed government agencies to ensure budget allocation for the maintenance and repair of their service vehicles.
In a speech delivered in Quezon City Tuesday, Duterte noticed that state-owned vehicles do not get repaired and are just left to rot.
“You must have at least in every budget, in every year for any government, you must make some provisions for maintenance and repair.
“I must be sure that there is a continuance or a continuous supply of materials: gulong, lahat. And you can easily go to your mayor. If your mayor has no money, you — the mayor will call me,” he said.
