The disclosure of former Joseph Estrada’s health condition has apparently become a thorny issue among his kids.

Former Senator JV Ejercito is now keeping mum about the medical condition of his father after an argument with his sibling. The former leader is currently confined at the hospital after he tested positive for the coronavirus disease.

In a Facebook post, Ejercito bared his not so pleasant conversation with a sibling after he granted a media interview about his father.

After the talk, the former senator announced he was no longer making any announcement about his dad’s condition. He blamed the latest set-up to his “complicated family structure.”

“Because of our complicated family structure, I will not be issuing any medical bulletins or any info from the hospital regarding my father,” he said.

“One sibling called me because I was interviewed earlier and conversation didn’t turn out well. Sorry guys. It’s complicated,” he said.

Ejercito nonetheless thanked the people for sending prayers for his dad’s recovery.

“Thank you for all those who sent prayers and well wishes for my dad. Appreciate it much!” he said.

It was JV’s half brother former Senator Jinggoy Estrada who broke the news about the coronavirus infection of Erap. The same announcement was made by JV several minutes later.
