Find out what Duterte heard on wiretapped phone calls between De Lima and her driver: Hindi siya kinilig

President Rodrigo Duterte admitted that he listened to a recording of the wiretapped conversations between Sen. Leila de Lima and her bodyguard-driver, Ronnie Palisoc Dayan.

But he did it only once because he couldn’t stand going through the lovers’ talk a second time.

In an early morning press conference last Sunday in Davao City, Duterte refused to describe the conversation between De Lima and Dayan in a recording provided by a foreign government helping the Philippines bring down the big-time protectors of drug lords.

“I only listened to it once, and what I mostly heard was lovers’ talk. You will not be interested to hear it because tsismosa ka talaga pagka ganoon,” said Duterte.

The recording is part of the dossier that Duterte has in dispossession to pin down De Lima for her role in allowing convicted drug lords to boost their operations while cooling their heels inside the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City during her term as Justice Secretary from 2010 to 2016.
