Gadon vows to have Bikoy placed under WPP Baka bumaligtad? Gadon wants ‘Bikoy’ placed in witness protection program
Losing senatorial bet Larry Gadon has vowed to get his client Peter Joemel Advincula, also known as Bikoy, to be placed under the Witness Protection Program (WPP).
Gadon gave the assurance after the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) has filed a criminal complaint against those behind the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos using the testimony of Advincula.
“Bikoy will seek to be placed under WPP,” said Gadon.
“He cannot be left on his own since his revelations could put his life into danger,” he added.
The videos features the hooded Bikoy who claimed that a number of personalities including the Duterte family members as being engaged in the illegal drugs trade.
However, Advincula later revealed that the videos were part of “Project Sodoma” concocted by the opposition to publicly discredit President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and destabilize his government.
In its complaint, the PNP-CIDG accused at 35 respondents including Advincula of sedition, inciting to sedition, cyber libel, libel, estafa, harboring a criminal, and obstruction of justice.
The complaint named as respondents Vice President Leni Robredo;former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV; incumbent Senators Ana Theresia “Risa” Hontiveros and Leila De Lima; and the Liberal Party’s Otso Diretso senatorial candidates Chel Diokno, Gary Alejano, Florin Hilbay, Romulo Macalintal, Bam Aquino, Lorenzo Tanada, and Samira Gutoc.
The other respondents also included Catholic Church officials and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP).
