Gantihan time! Bong Go eyes grilling Trillanes at Senate over ‘Bikoy’ videos
Senator-elect Bong Go is considering summoning Senator Antonio Trillanes to a congressional inquiry over his alleged involvement in a videoo series linking him and President Rodrigo Duterte’s family to illegal drugs.
In an interview over dzMM radio Thursday (May 23), Go said: “Trillanes, hintayin mo rin. Baka ikaw rin ang ipatawag ko.”
Earlier in the day, former convict Peter Joemel Advincula held a press conference linking Trillanes and the Liberal Party to the “Ang Totoong Narco List” video series.
Advincula, who claimed he was the alleged whistleblower Bikoy featured in the series, faced the media before the May 13 elections insisting that Duterte’s family and Go received kickbacks from a drug syndicate.
Trillanes’ term as senator will end on June 30, the same day Go will officially assume office.
At the sidelines of his victory party in Davao City, Go hinted that he will seek comeuppance to all those who linked him to the illegal drug trade.
“Sabi ko nga bilog ang mundo. Antayin na lang po natin, mananagot ang dapat managot,” he said “Grabe na po ang pahirap niyo sa akin sa nakaraang eleksyon. Ako’y parang binugbog niyo talaga.”
Go removed his shirt twice to disprove Bikoy’s claim in one of the videos that he has a dragon tattoo used in drug-related transactions.
