Senator Sherwin Gatchalian took a break from legislative work to visit typhoon victims in Bicol Region.
The senator flew to Catanduanes, Albay, and Camarines Sur to extend relief assistance to the affected communities. He tried to lift up the spirits of the storm victims, saying no disaster is greater than Filipinos’ resilience.
“Distributed assistance and checked on how residents in Catanduanes, Albay and Camarines Sur are coping from the devastation brought by successive typhoons. No disaster is greater than our resilience and strength as a nation,” he said in an Instagram post.
The senator was joined by his brother Valenzuela City Rep. Wes Gatchalian in the Bicol visit. The Gatchalian politikos donated P6 million to the three typhoon-hit provinces in the region.
