Ginto ang short time! Sex workers available for P44K at Chinese-only prostitution dens

Prostitution dens in Metro Manila that are exclusively for Chinese nationals charge as much as P44,000 for three hours of “service” with a sex worker, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has discovered.
NBI found evidence of a Chinese-only prostitution den’s operations in a recent raid of a four-star hotel in Makati City.
Operatives discovered that a syndicate booked 30 rooms at the hotel for sex workers and their clients, said NBI head agent Joel Tovera.
Initial investigation showed the syndicate has been using the hotel as venue for prostitution for at least two years.
Tovera said Chinese clients interested in a sex worker will find a cartolina posted on the wall of the hotel room with rates for every kind of “service.”
The rates range from P10,000 to as much as P44,000 for a three-hour “service” or solo time with the sex worker.
Among the materials that NBI operatives retrieved at the hotel include laminated cartolinas with Chinese characters with a photo of a nude Chinese woman where the “services” offered at the den were printed.
Law enforcers also seized gift certificates with a P1,500 denomination, which supposedly serve as discount coupons and were allegedly given at offices of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).
There were also lighters bearing Chinese characters, which were supposedly used for marketing the prostitution den’s services. A check using Google Translate showed that the lighter bore the name of Mingyuan International Club on one side and a phone number.
NBI operatives rescued sex workers aged between 20 years old and early 30s during their raid.
Tovera said taxi drivers that NBI interviewed as part of its surveillance operations said most of the clients at the hotel arrive between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
“Taxi drivers we interviewed during surveillance operation said that busiest time is before midnight, walang patid ang dating daw ng Chinese clients,” he said.
