Glen Chong wants to eject Comelec-Smartmatic syndicate: Inalok ako, ‘tumahimik ka, papanalunin ka namin!’
You have to give it to former Biliran Rep. Glen Chong for having a single-minded purpose in running for senator – dismantle the alleged syndicate of the Commission on Elections and vote counting machine provider Smartmatic.
nakawin ng sindikatong ito,” said Chong during the CNN Philippines senatorial debate.

Chong, an abogado, claimed to have been a victim of Smartmatic’s
alleged machination when he lost in the 2010 and 2014 elections to a
member of the Espina clan.
Chong was the first to break the Espinas’ stranglehold on Biliran when
he won as its lone representative from 2007 to 2010. Unmasking the
alleged cheating by Smartmatic has been the sole obsession of Chong
who has testified to these irregularities in several hearings in the
House and the Senate.
