Senator Bong Go has dared Vice President Leni Robredo to release any derogatory information against President Duterte and his allies she gathered while she was co-chair of the interagency anti-drug war committee.
“Ilabas niya,’’ was Go’s curt reply when asked to comment on the possibility that Robredo will make public damaging information she accessed while she was co-chair of the anti-drug committee.
Duterte fired Robredo as co-chair of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) on Sunday, supposedly for lack of confidence triggered by her meetings with US and UN officials.
Go echoed Duterte’s statement that she could not be trusted because she belonged to the political opposition, sidestepping the fact that she is the leader of the Liberal Party when she was appointed as ICAD cochair, 18 days ago.
Earlier Duterte had warned Robredo that she will be sanctioned if she will reveal “state secret.”
Robredo as ICAD co-chair requested access to the list of the government’s high-value targets in the illegal drug trade.
No one was killed
Go, who for the first time did not accompany Duterte in a foreign trip, also said that Robredo did not do well in her job.
“Two weeks nandyan siya wala drug lord na namatay,’’ Go said.
Drug lords killed in three years
But when Go was asked how many drug lords were killed by the administration’s war on drug for the past three years.
“Hindi naman kami nagpapatay sa kanila so di ko binibilang,’’ Go said.
