The government will establish a state media hub in Visayas in 2021, Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said.
The state of the art media facility will be constructed in Cebu, added Andanar.
Andanar said the media facility aims to support the Duterte administration’s “Build, Build, Build” agenda.
So, this is it, this is the time to have our own build, build, build government media,” he said.
Meanwhile, the secretary noted that the Mindanao Media Hub in Davao City is 90 percent complete. The facility will house the People’s Television, Radyo Pilipinas, News and Information Bureau, Philippine News Agency, the Philippine Information Agency, National Printing Office, Apo Production Unit, and other PCOO-attached agencies.
