The government has ordered the closure of all cemeteries and memorial parks during this year’s “Undas” season from October 29 to November 4.

This was contained in Resolution No. 72 of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Malacañang, however, said people may visit their deceased loved ones from September 17 to October 28 and November 5 to 15, with a maximum capacity of 30 percent in all cemeteries and memorial parks.

Age restrictions will not apply during the period, said Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Earlier, all Metro Manila mayors agreed to temporarily close cemeteries in the region to prevent the mass gathering of people that may lead to the further spread of coronavirus.
