Palace Spokesman Harry Roque is proposing for an adjustment in the salaries of nurses in the Philippines.
Roque made the comment after a recent study conducted by an information aggregator showed that Filipino registered nurses earn the least compared to their peers in the Southeast Asia region.
According to iPrice Group, experienced Filipino nurses only receive a monthly salary of P40,381 while nurses from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia earn at least P63,000.
