Hindi basta tambay huhulihin na! Mocha tells Kiko to do research before criticizing Duterte

Senator Kiko Pangilinan should do more research rather than just rely on television reports about the government’s latest move to clamp down on tambays breaking the law.

Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson made the suggestion after Pangilinan reminded the Philippine National Police that the country’s anti-vagrancy law has long been abolished.

Media lang nanonood,” she said in a Facebook post.

The police earlier said thousands of persons have been arrested following the President’s directive to be strict towards “tambays” or night-time laggers violating the law.

PNP chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde said those arrested have violated city ordinances on curfew, drinking in public places, going half-naked in public, smoking in public, among others. None of those arrested was arrested for vagrancy.
