House coronavirus cases now at 36 after husband, wife test positive
The number of House personnel who have tested positive for the coronavirus rose again by two on Wednesday, bringing the total to 36.
House Secretary General Jose Luis Montales said the two employees were husband and wife.
“Two more employees have tested positive for Covid-19,” he said in an advisory.
“They are spouses. One is assigned at the Human Resources Management Services, who reported for work on July 22, 29, and 30, and got tested after experiencing colds,” Montales said.
“The other is assigned at the Accounting Service who reported for work on July 29 and 30,” he added.
“Contact tracing is underway,” Montales said.
