House reports 2 new Covid-19 cases, now at 16 — Montales
The House of Representatives secretariat reported two new cases of employees stricken with the coronavirus.
The number now stands at 16 confirmed cases, according to House Secretary General Jose Luis G. Montales.
The first is a congressional staff, who last reported for work on July 2, the official said.
“He went briefly to their office on July 6. On both occasions, he interacted only with his principal and co-staff members,” Montales said.
The second is a member of the security staff “who’s suffering from renal problems,” he said.
The employee last reported for work on March 12, Montales said.
“Let’s pray for the speedy recovery of our confirmed cases and the well-being of their families,” he said.
