House reports latest Covid-19 case, total now at 37
House Secretary General Jose Luis Montales on Saturday announced that another House employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the total to 37, 19 of whom are active cases.
“An employee from the Human Resources Management Service has tested positive for Covid-19,” Montales said in an advisory.
“He last reported for work on July 29 and got tested after having cough,” he said of the unnamed employee.
Montales said contact tracing has started to locate everyone with whom the employee had close contact with and to isolate them.
“This brings the total of our confirmed cases to thirty-seven (37), of which nineteen (19) are active cases with mild symptoms,” he said.
