Foreign Affairs Teodoro Locsin Jr. said he neither has a green card nor command of United States forces to block its retaliatory strike against Iran.

Locsin was reacting to the demand made by activists who protested outside the Department of Foreign Affairs a few days ago.

“Thanks to the leftists who inadvertently brought her plight to @DFAPHL attention and instant action. Turns out they were not interested in the plight of OFWs but me stopping a US retaliatory strike. I don’t even have a green card let alone command of US forces,” he tweeted.

Last Friday, Locsin confronted OFW rights group Migrante protesting outside the DFA and challenged them to beat him up. The activists said the government should send social and health workers instead of the military to help evacuate Filipino workers in Iraq.
