On the 34th anniversary of the EDSA People Power, Senator Imee Marcos has thrown a subtle shade at critics of her father the late President Ferdinand Marcos.
The elder Marcos was ousted via bloodless revolt in February 1986 after a 20-year authoritarian rule in the country.
In her latest post on Facebook, Marcos shared a quote from her father about not leaving history to historians.
The picture card carried Marcos’ message: “History should not be left to the historians. Rather, be like Churchill. Make history and then write it.”
