Imee tells bashers to chill: ‘We’re not staying in Malacanang, we’re just posing with my father’s portrait
Senator-elect Imee Marcos is telling her bashers to relax after raising a howl over her Facebook post touting her family’s return to Malacanang after being forced to leave in a huff in 1986.
“Posing-posing lang naman ‘yun, hindi naman kami mananatili roon. Posing-posing lang sa tatay ko, nag-oathtaking kasi ako doon,” Marcos said in an interview with DZBB’s Arnold Clavio and Ali Sotto.
Marcos saw nothing wrong with feeling nostalgic and sharing the moment with her Facebook fans.
“Siyempre as usual may nagbabatikos, meron din natutuwa,” said Marcos.
Marcos was accompanied by her mother, Imelda, her siblings – Bongbong and Irene, and her children and nephews.
Back in Malacañang for @ManangImee‘s oath-taking with President Duterte. We could hardly contain our excitement seeing her finally fulfill her dream of serving our people in the Senate.
