Vice President Leni Robredo should start the initiative.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque was reacting to a statement by Robredo, who said she hoped she and President Rodrigo Duterte could set aside their differences for the betterment of the people.
“It’s her call,” Roque said in a televised briefing Tuesday.
“Dalawang beses na siya inappoint ni Presidente. So, I dont know what initiative she has taken naman. Maybe she should start the initiative,” he added.
In October 2019, Duterte has appointed Robredo as the co-chair of the government body that oversees the administration’s anti-drugs campaign.
Robredo was also appointed as head of the government’s Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council in 2016.
