“Interested applicants must submit two complete sets of application or recommendation with conforme, together with all the documentary requirements, to the JBC…not later than 4:30 p.m. of 10 September 2019,” read the notice from the JBC.
The JBC told applicants that the “actual receipt by the JBC of the complete documentary requirements of the applicant or recommendee shall be deemed as the date of filing.”
“The qualification of applicants shall be reckoned from the said deadline for filing of applications,” it added.
Aside from the spot of Barza, the JBC is also looking for applicants to fill eight empty seats at the CA vacated by justices who have already retired or have been promoted to the Supreme Court (SC).
