No helicopter, airplane and hundreds of assistants, no problem.

Unlike other affluent candidates, senatorial aspirant Jiggy Manicad is running his nationwide campaign on a small budget.

Manicad, in a Facebook post, said he has only one campaign vehicle and helps in posting campaign posters and tarpaulins whenever he visits a place.

The former GMA-7 reporter wanted to manage a clean campaign in line with his promise not to engage in any corruption.

Push pa more, pray pa more!” he added.
