Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla is not choosy when it comes to the brand of coronavirus vaccine given to him.
The governor got vaccinated Friday, April 16, in his home province, letting health experts pick the brand for him.
Remulla was given his first shot of AstraZeneca vaccine at the vaccination center at the De La Salle Animo Center. A video of his vaccination experience was posted on his Facebook page.
Remulla explained that he wanted to show the residents of Cavite that vaccines are safe to help fight the coronavirus disease.
“Ito ay patunay sa inyo na okay na ang lahat at safe ito para sa atin… Medyo mahaba ang karayom pero kakayanin natin yan,” he said in the video.
After a doctor injected the vaccine into his left arm, the governor assured that he didn’t feel any bad side effect except for the slight pain when the needle pierced his skin.
Remulla did not pass up the chance to joke about his vaccination. He pulled a prank by falling off his chair while saying there was nothing wrong with him. “Loko lang,” he told his viewers.
He went to the observation area where he waited for several minutes after his vaccination.
