Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II believes the public should be allowed to show its support for the possibility of forming a revolutionary government.
“Wala bawal doon. In other words we are free to express our own opinion,” said Aguirre.
Thousands of rallyists gathered at Mendiola on Bonifacio Day (November 30) to show their support for the revolutionary government which President Rodrigo Duterte threatened to impose.
“Meron kasi naniniwa na ang RevGov ay magpapadali ng pagbabago,” explained Aguirre.
“So lahat naman tayo may right to express our own opinion,” he reiterated.
Although there is a show of support, Duterte said he hoped to declare a revolutionary government only as a last resort.
