Supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte are having a field day online after singer and songwriter Jim Paredes admitted to being in a sex video.

Former Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson said the release of Paredes’ video was his bad karma for criticizing Duterte’s controversial statements on women.

“Ilang beses mo tinira ang Pangulo sa kanyang mga salita at gawa na may kaugnay sa babae yun pala ikaw ang ganun,” she said on her Facebook page.

Blogger RJ Nieto, also known as Thinking Pinoy, said the attention gained by Paredes’ sex video showed how delighted people are over his misery.

He said Paredes isn’t exactly a well-loved personality since he has been an “utter asshole” to a lot of people over the years.

“[N]othing is more satisfying than seeing someone fall so spectacularly from his high horse perched on top of his ivory tower. Scratch that: make it an ivory skyscraper,” Nieto said.

Sass Sasot jeered Paredes for having a penchant for recording sexual acts despite his upright persona.

“Nalaswaan sila sa mga sexy na ginawa ni Mocha noon. Ang trip ng mga disente iyong RAW AT HOMEMADE,” she said on Facebook, referring to the “disente” tag that people supportive of the Liberal Party are said to espouse.

Several Twitter users also called the spread of Paredes’ sex video as his “karma” for criticizing Duterte.

The member of the defunct APO Hiking Society made the admission that he was the person in the sex video after initially denying it.
