Kitty Duterte: I’m a straight and proud Davaoeña
Presidential daughter Veronica “Kitty” Duterte has given a rare interview online, spilling the beans about her sexuality, beauty regimen, love for acting, and positive outlook in life.
The President’s youngest daughter appeared in good spirits, funny and candid in her friend Kyra Valentin’s July 5 vlog where they talked about various topics except for politics. The video posted by KingKyra on YouTube so far has more than 200,000 views and 7,000 likes.
“I-clear ko lang kasi madami rin nag-a-ask. No po, I’m straight,” Kitty said when a netizen asked if she is bisexual during the Q and A portion of the vlog.
The 15-year-old Kitty also gamely tackled queries on whether she wants to become an actress and study abroad during the vlog.
She said she has no plan of joining showbiz industry but admitted enjoying acting in dramatic roles at home and in school.
On studying abroad, she prefers to study in the country. She said her mom Honeylet would want her to pursue studies abroad but her dad President Duterte prefers she stays in the country.
Although she was born in the US, Kitty said she is a proud Davaoeña. She said she enjoys the tranquil life at home.
She also opened up about her skincare, sharing the brands she use to deal with dry skin.
Asked about the origin of her nickname, she said she was named after “kiti-kiti” or mosquito larvae because she was a restless kid.
On how she deals with negativitiy, Kitty said she would rather focus on “more important things in your life like the things you value.”
