Kris Aquino has expressed willingness to face Communications Secretary Mocha Uson to settle scores over the Malacañang official’s repeated attacks against the actress’ parents.
In a 17-minute Facebook video uploaded Tuesday (June 5), Kris said she had to speak up against Uson because of the insults the latter had directed against former President Corazon Aquino and former senator Benigno Aquino Jr., who are already both dead.
Kris said she is ready to face Uson if the Palace official is looking for a fight.
“Babae sa babae, gusto mo ng kaaway? Ako. I’m ready. Anytime, anywhere, harapan,” she said.
Kris said she and Uson could reenact the scene from “Four Sisters and a Wedding,” in which the then-sexy starlet was dragged down the street by the hair by Angel Locsin.
“This is a direct challenge to you. Text me, you can find my number, it’s so easy. Name the place, name the location, let’s carry it live. Bring all your followers…. I can stand alone,” she said.
Kris said she is taking the cudgels up for her parents not because she is a celebrity or wants to run for public office, but because she is a daughter hurt by Uson’s attacks.
The Palace official earlier posted a video comparing President Rodrigo Duterte’s kiss with a Filipina on the lips with the smooch a female stole from Ninoy on the plane before he was shot dead in 1983.
In the video, Uson showed the clip of Duterte kissing a Filipina in South Korea with the question, “Masagwa daw ito?” The clip then changed into the video of a woman kissing Ninoy on the plane with the phrase, “Pero ito hindi?”
Kris slammed Mocha for going after her dead parents instead of her. She said she could face any attacks.
“Kung gusto mo ng kalaban, kung gusto mo ng punching bag, kung gusto mo ng taong sasampal-sampalin, kung gusto mo ng taong sasabunutan, nandito ako. I’m ready. I’m ready for you. I don’t know if you’re ready for me,” she said.
