Laban lang! VP Robredo’s V-day message for those still waiting: Basta may puso, may pag-asa

Vice President Leni Robredo on Valentine’s Day (February 14) encouraged Filipinos to stay hopeful about waiting and fighting for love—and for change in society.

Happy Valentine’s Day sa lahat,” Robredo said over Twitter.

Basta may puso, may pag-asa,” she added.

In keeping with her annual tradition, the Vice President gave away roses to female employees and visitors of the Office of the Vice President.

She did the same the day before (Feb. 13) at the Naga City Hall, continuing the tradition started by her late husband, Jesse, who served as city mayor for a total of 19 years before his appointment as Interior secretary.

So wala kaming na-miss na year na hindi kami namigay ng bulaklak,” she said.
