Senator Panfilo Lacson would rather not be associated with any political color as he continues his crusade against corruption in the government.

Lacson scoffed at the allegation he’s “dilawan” or allied with the previous Aquino administration after a netizen remarked that he “looked yellow” for his recent criticism of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

“Naninilaw ka na sir [face will rolling eyes emoji],” Twitter user @yowjadee said.

Lacson tweeted back: “I’m neither yellow nor whatever. Hindi ba pwedeng sa tama lang regardless of political color? Kaya lagi tayong bigo because of that old line of thinking. For a change, let’s think of what is right for country and people.”

The senator earlier called Roque out for criticizing government critics, saying, “Manigas kayo!” In response, Lacson said: “Manigas kayong lahat! Arrogance and ignorance do not only rhyme. They are roommates in one brain cell.”
