Lakas ng lindol! Politikos urge Pinoys to stay safe after Luzon earthquake
Politikos have called on the public to stay safe following a powerful earthquake that rocked parts of Luzon Monday afternoon.
The earthquake measuring a magnitude 6.1 reportedly left five people dead, destroyed infrastructure, and caused blackouts in some Luzon provinces.
“Stay safe everyone!! charge phones and have water/flashlights some food in a grab bag. Hope we don’t need them,” re-electionist Sonny Angara tweeted.
Senator Richard Gordon also assured that Red Cross remains on alert to deal with any emergency.
“Praying for everyone’s safety. Report to us the situation in your area. Red Cross is on full alert,” he said.
Senator Sherwin Gatchalian tweeted: “Kumusta kayo? Naramdaman niyo ba ang #lindol? Manatiling ligtas kasama ang inyong mga mahal sa buhay. Ibayong pag-iingat sa lahat! #earthquake.”
