Leonen’s advice to PMA graduates: Lead by example

Supreme Court (SC) Justice Marvic Leonen on Friday (May 22) urged the graduating cadets of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) to “lead by example.”

Leonen made the call to in his Twitter post as he congratulated the graduating cadets of PMA “Masidlawin” Class of 2020.

“Thank you for joining a profession that will put yourselves in harm’s way for others,” he told the graduating cadets.

With this, the magistrate advised the graduating cadets to “maintain your integrity.”

“If you are asked to enforce a law, do not violate it yourself,” he urged.

“Lead by example,” Leonen stressed to them.

The graduating class is composed of 173 male and 23 female cadets.

Among whom, 51 will be joining the Philippine Navy, 45 to the Philippine Air Force, and the rest to the Philippine Army.
