Level up sa pangit! Check out the new welcome sign for SEA Games delegates at NAIA
From a black and white printout, the welcome sign for delegates of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has become a tarpaulin– but it’s still hideous.
A photo posted by @pami_ph, the parody Twitter account of the SEA Games mascot Pami, showed a tarpaulin sign with the phrase, “Mabuhay! SEA Games Athletes Welcome to the Philippines.”
The caption read: “buti pa yung computer shop ni cayetano ginastusan ako hindi.”
House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano is the chairman of the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Committee (Phisgoc), which is now at the center of controversy over the use of the P6-billion budget for the international athletic meet.
Several netizens noted how poorly designed the tarpaulin was.
“Sagad sa margin ah. Hahaha,” said @CitizenCass.
“Linteccc anong measurement ng margins nito, 0.3?” asked @BrujaDelDemonio.
“RIP Margin…. Inang mga to mas maganda pa magagawa ng highschool students jan eh! #SEAGames2019,” @vitzbitz said.
“Ganda ng Layout parang sa MS Word lang ginawa, magkano kaya budget neto? kahit grade 3 student kaya tong ilayout,” said @m0j0j0j0.
