Libre mag-aral! No tuition fee for University of Makati law students, ex-VP Binay says

No financial burden here.

The University of Makati School of Law offers free education to aspiring lawyers, said former Vice President Jojo Binay.

“When we started the law school, I was firm in ensuring that our law students will have the most conducive environment to study. This also means taking away any financial burden a legal education entails for every aspiring lawyer,” Binay, also dean emeritus of UMak, wrote on Facebook.

“The UMak School of Law is now on its third year of operations and we continue our commitment of providing free legal education to all accepted applicants,” he said.

He shared a photo caption that UMak law school does not charge any tuition fee and that its students are considered scholars of the Makati City government.
