Like the boss: Bong Go vows to continue Duterte’s fight vs. crime, drugs, corruption

Administration senatorial candidate former Special Assistant to the President Bong Go has reiterated his promise to legislate laws that will institutionalize stronger and preventive measures to fight illegal drugs, crime, and corruption.
Go said , like President Duterte , he is committed to attain a better Philippines for the next generation.
He said his legislative agenda would include, increasing the budget of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency to make it more effective in the fight against drugs, amend the Juvenile Justice Law to stop drug syndicates from using the youth in their nefarious activities and the reinstatement of the death penalty for heinous crimes.
Go also said he will push for a law that would enable increased private sector participation to help authorities go after corrupt officials, and will study stiffer penalties for anomalous people in government.
“Pag-aaralan po natin ang pagdadagdag ng mga penalties para sa mga personnel at opisyal na kurap. Gagawa din po tayo ng mga hakbang tulad ng Truth and Justice Coalition para makilahok pa lalo ang mga pribadong tao sa pagtugis ng mga kurakot sa gobyerno.”
Go adds he plans to implements sports development programs as this can be effective in helping prevent the youth from engaging in drugs.
He said proper education for all will also prevent the youth from engaging in drug use and trafficking.
