Lodi si attorney! ABS-CBN’s Mike Navallo earns praises for standing up to Calida
Netizens can’t help but be impressed with ABS-CBN reporter Mike Navallo for standing his ground when Solicitor General Jose Calida tried to intimidate him when they met at the Supreme Court.
Calida challenged Navallo, an abogado, to practice law again when the reporter tried asking for a copy of the quo warranto petition that the Solicitor General filed against ABS-CBN.
Former Supreme Court spokesperson Ted Te tweeted: “@mikenavallo, known to us at UP Law then as Jobert Navallo (UP Law ’09), is a better lawyer than he is a reporter and he is one of the best reporters I know.”

Navallo’s boss, ABS-CBN Integrated News and Current Affairs head Ging Reyes, also had good words for him.
“Kudos @mikenavallo for your professionalism. #standwithabscbn,” Reyes said.
