Magkakasama na rin! De Lima allowed to see son after passing bar
Detained Senator Leila De Lima has been allowed to attend the thanksgiving dinner of her son, Vincent Joshua Bohol, who passed the bar exams.
Lawyer Boni Tacardon, De Lima’s legal counsel, revealed that Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branches 205 and 256 have granted her motion for furlough.
De Lima had informed the courts that she wants to join her son’s thanksgiving dinner which will be held on June 16 at the Club Filipino.
The senator is currently detained at the Custodial Center of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Camp Crame, Quezon City.
She is facing three drug charges over her alleged involvement in the proliferation of illegal drug trading at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City.
