The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has been tapped to provide assistance in the investigation concerning the death of flight of attendant Christine Dacera, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said on Wednesday (Jan. 6).
“The NBI forensic medicine team is presently providing assistance to and coordinating with the PNP Makati SOCO (Philippine National Police Makati’s Scene of the Crime Office) to determine the true cause of death of Christine Dacera,” he disclosed.
Dacera was found dead in her hotel room in Makati City last Jan. 1 after having last seen alive with a group of men during a New Year’s eve
Initial medico-legal reports showed that Dacera’s cause of death has been “ruptured aortic aneurysm.”
The report also said that the victim has multiple contusions and abrasions.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) said it has arrested three suspects but nine others remain at large.
