Malaking malas! Netizens blame UP’s loss in UAAP finals on Harry Roque’s presence
The Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles may have proven to be too powerful of an opponent for the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons, but netizens believe they are not the reason why the underdogs lost the second game of the UAAP men’s basketball finals.
Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque drew hate on Twitter for watching game two of the basketball finals live at the Araneta Coliseum Wednesday (December 5).
Roque, an alumnus of UP, was seated in the patron section. He wore a maroon polo in support of the team.
Some netizens believe Roque’s presence jinxed the Fighting Maroons’ chances of winning the game. Check out their tweets below:

Basta tandaan niyo, kasalanan ni Harry Roque lahat ng missed free throws. Him and every other vile politician trying to gain publicity and what not from this venture of UP. Mga dakilang epal. Tangina nilang lahat. 🙂 #UPFight #FightTyranny
