Former Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas is on dad duty teaching his kids a popular toe counting rhyme.
Roxas tweaked the lyrics of “This Little Piggy” nursery rhyme while teaching the beloved song to his daughter Pilar.
Instead of the traditional places where the pig went, Roxas revised the places of destination such as market, school, store, home, and church. He took a photo of Pilar’s left foot with the blue markings of the places where the little pig went.
“This little piggy went to…” Roxas captioned his toddler’s cute little foot.
When his cousin chef Margarita Fores asked if the foot belonged to Pilar or Pepe, Roxas replied it was his daughter’s.
The piggy rhyme is usually sung while pointing out a child’s finger or toe, starting with the thumb toe to the pinky toe. The rhyme ends by tickling the foot on the line “wee wee wee all the way home.”
