Former Senator Bongbong Marcos is grateful for the donors of personal protective equipment for health workers.
Marcos initiated a donation project for the medical supplies to help the country’s health care workers safe. His PPE donation has so far been a resounding success as many people have pitched in.
“Lubos na pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga nagparating ng kanilang mga tulong sa ating mga frontliners!” he said in a video on Instagram.
Marcos urged people to continue to support the country’s health workers providing care and treatment to coronavirus patients.
He said the fight against the pandemic may still be long but asked the public not to neglect the needs of the medical workers.
“Mahaba pa ang laban na ito kung kaya’t huwag tayong bibitaw, huwag natin silang pabayaan,” he said.
He said the PPE donation project will continue to provide the much-need supplies for the health care workers.
“Magpapatuloy lang rin po ang proyektong ito ng aming tanggapan,” he said.
The coronavirus cases in the country have surged past 1 million in recent days. Some hospitals have reported full capacity as the facilities got swamped with cases of infections.
