Manila Mayor Isko Moreno is now immortalized on a leaf artwork.
The young politiko thanked Connie Francis Fumar for carving his portrait on a leaf. A screenshot of the leaf art showing an image of Mayor Isko was posted on the official’s Facebook page.
“Salamat sayo CONNIE FRANCIS FUMAR, isang Artist mula sa Palo, Leyte sa iyong Leaf Art na ginawa para sa akin,” he said.
Mayor Isko, an actor-turned-politiko, is thrilled with the latest artwork in honor of his service to the people of Manila.
“Ako’y talagang natutuwa dahil sa ang aming maliit na kaparaanan ng paglilingkod sa mga taga Maynila ay iyong napansin at kinilala sa pamamagitan ng isang malikhaing gawa. Maraming salamat sayo,” he said.
He thanked two media networks for giving space to showcase the work of the local artist
“Maraming salamat din kay JONEL TOMES, ang anchor/reporter mula sa 104.7FM KABOSES Radio at TV5 sa LEYTE sa kanyang binigay na pagkakataon na ma-interview sa iyong programa ang katulad ni CONNIE,” he said.
