Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio flew to Singapore Tuesday afternoon from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City.
Manila Bulletin airport beat reporter Ariel Fernandez cited sources who said the mayor arrived at NAIA-2 via Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight from Davao at around 9 a.m.
She then boarded a Singapore-bound Singapore Airlines flight (SQ-917) at 2:15 p.m., bringing with her a child. She was accompanied by one presidential guard.
It was not immediately known why Duterte-Carpio flew to Singapore. Last Sept. 28 to Oct. 5, she took a seven-day medical leave.
