Former Senator Antonio Trillanes seems to have already made up his mind about his bets for the 2022 presidential elections.
He’s been open about supporting Vice President Leni Robredo’s possible run for president.
But it appears he also has a vice presidential candidate in mind. On Politiskoop, the former lawmaker gave a clue about his bet for VP—the surname has a letter “P.”
Trillanes confirmed his group Magdalo is planning to field him for senator in next year’s elections.
But he said he’s also willing to run for president if Robredo decides to run for local office instead.
He even has a running mate in mind, in case he ends up being the opposition’s standard better. He says the surname of his possible running mate also has a letter “P.”
Trillanes is among 1Sambayan’s prospective candidates who may go against administration bets in next year’s polls.
