Mga salot! Duterte showers erring cops with curses, death threat
President Rodrigo Duterte lashed out Tuesday (August 7) against cops tagged in illegal activities, saying he will have them killed if they don’t change for good.
In an outburst filled with expletives at Malacañang grounds, Duterte said he couldn’t understand why there are still some rotten members of the Philippine National Police when the public’s respect for them has increased.
“Kayo ‘yung salot. Hindi ko maintindihan p— ina. Alam mo sa totoo lang, prangkahan ko ngayon ang buong Pilipinas, ‘pag ganun kayo ng ganun, p—ina_ papatayin ko talaga kayo. Masiguro ninyo ‘yan. Wala na akong magawa sa inyo mga ulol kayo,” he said.
Duterte said he has a “special unit” that can keep tabs on the erring policemen for the rest of their lives.
“‘Pag nagkamali kayo nang konti, sabihin ko patayin kayo.” he said. “Hindi ako nagwa-warning na para pantakot. Nagwa-warning para gawin ko, ‘yan ang totoo.”
Duterte said the families of the erring policemen should no longer be surprised if they end up dead.
“Kayong mga pamilya na nakikinig ngayon. Nandito itong mga putang- inang mga asawa ninyo, kapatid, anak. Wag tayong magsisihan. ‘Pag namatay tong mga putanginang to, wag kayong pumunta sa amin at magsisigaw kayo ng human rights human rights, due process,” he said.
A total of 102 policemen assigned in the National Capital Region, Central Luzon and Calabarzon were presented to Duterte. They are facing charges ranging from rape, kidnap for ransom, illegal drugs and grace misconduct.
Duterte ended his address by telling the cops to stay put in Malacañang grounds even if they go hungry while he holds a command conference with police and military officials.
