Former Palace official Mocha Uson is setting the record straight.
In an Instagram post, Uson shut down rumors that she and actor Robin Padilla are supposedly expecting a child. Uson also posted a short video clip flexing muscles at the gym to dispute the
pregnancy rumors.
“BUNTIS DAW AKO KAY ROBIN? Wala pong katotohanan yang tsismis na yan,” she said.
Uson, now deputy administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, is embarrassed that Robin and his wife Mariel have been dragged into the controversy.
“Napakabait po nung tao. Nakakahiya naman kay idol Robin at Mariel,” she said.
Uson suspected that the pregnancy rumors were probably circulated by “bitter” critics.
“Sigurado ako ang nagpapakalat niyan ay yung mga bitter sa ating gobyerno. Alam ng lahat na ako at si sir Robin ay masugid na suporter ni Pangulong Duterte kaya nalang sinisiraan kami,” she said.
Uson said opposition forces were inventing rumors since their supposed candidate Vice President Leni Robredo was not faring well in surveys.
“Kulelat kasi sa survey ang pambato nilang si Robredo kaya kung ano ano paninira ang iniimbento nila,” she said.
