Politiko Mocha Uson is taking advantage of the pregnancy rumor mill to promote her latest advocacy protecting the welfare of single mothers.
Uson recently posted a “baby reveal” video on TikTok to draw attention to “MOthers for CHAnge” or MOCHA, a new program aimed to help unwed pregnant teenagers and single moms.
The former Presidential Communications assistant secretary earlier denied rumors she was carrying the child of actor Robin Padilla and blamed the opposition for spreading such lie. The pregnancy rumor prompted the deputy executive director of the Overseas Welfare Workers Administration to form MOCHA.
In the video, Uson, clad in a blue pajama shirt, is first seen touching her belly while a dance song played on the background. The next clip shows Uson lifting her sleeveless top to show her toned belly to disprove rumors about a baby bump.
The latest TikTok video was shared on Uson’s Facebook page with the title “Baby reveal?”
Uson, in a Facebook post, thanked the people who have rallied behind her MOCHA advocacy.
Uson also tried to lift the spirits of single moms, urging them to ignore the criticisms and not to lose hope.
Pero huwag kang mawalan ng pag-asa,” she said.
Huwag kang susuko! Ang Panginoon nga ay hindi sumusuko sayo. Ang kailangan mo lang gawin ay lumapit sa Kanya at Siya’y lalapit din sayo,” she said.
