Motorbike stopover: Bato visits wounded ex-Pangasinan guv Espino
A motorcycle enthusiast, Senator Ronald dela Rosa went on a road trip in the north and made a stopover to visit a friend who survived an ambush attack in Pangasinan.
Dela Rosa sought to look into the condition of Amado Espino Jr., the former Pangasinan governor and lawmaker who was hurt when gunmen opened fire at his vehicle last week, during a pitstop at his place.
A photo shared by Dela Rosa’s camp on Facebook showed Espino sporting a bandage on his right arm while entertaining the senator and other visitors at the dining area.
The senator and his friends were on their way to Baguio City when they squeezed in a visit to Espino, who is recovering from his injury.
