Maguindanao solon optimistic about BOL plebiscite result



Deputy Speaker and Maguindanao Rep. Bai Sandra Sinsuat Sema is optimistic that the residents of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) will support the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) in the upcoming plebiscite.

“We are not only positive, optimistic, we are also very happy that the BOL is being welcomed and embraced by our people on the ground,” said Sema.

Sema stressed that the government, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) have joined forces to ensure the honest and peaceful holding of the historic political exercise.

The House official noted that said Muslims, Christians, Lumads, and people from other faiths will hold a prayer rally for peace and unity this Friday in Cotabato City to pray for peace, harmony, and them success of the ratification of the BOL.

“We ask all qualified voters to participate in the plebiscite on January 21 and February 6 and be part of this historic event that will unify all people in the Bangsamoro Homeland,” said Sema.
