Nakabantay na: DOJ places ‘Drug Queen’ on immigration lookout bulletin
Former barangay chairwoman Guia Gomez Castro who has been tagged as the “drug queen” in the issue of recycled illegal drugs will be placed in the immigration lookout bulletin order (ILBO),said Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete.
“Once the ILBO is issued, we can request monitoring through the Interpol,” Perete told reporters on Thursday (Sept. 26).
Perete explained an ILBO is only used “for the purpose of monitoring entry and departures through our immigration counters.”
“But it is also required for monitoring through Interpol channels,” he pointed out.
Gomez won as barangay chairwoman in the last elections for Barangay 484, Zone 48 in Sampaloc, Manila but got replaced after she stopped reporting from work since April.
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has revealed that she already left the country last September 21 for Canada.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) said she been working with corrupt policemen who supply her with seized illegal drugs from operations.
